Throughout my semester of study, I have learned a great deal of information in this area that I can apply in real life. The points and lessons I had to learn provided me with a great deal of satisfaction and helped me become a better technology user. I admit that before I started studying this subject, I had no idea what ICT was or how important it was. I eventually finish this class, though. I’ve learnt a lot of useful information from this subject, including how to use technology appropriately.
My mind was entirely loaded with crucial ICT information throughout the semester. One of the most significant contributions to one’s intellect is empowerment technologies. I believe that everyone should study this subject because it can truly enlighten our minds and clear out all of our misunderstandings.
MODULE 1: INTERACTIVE MULTIMEDIA
In module 1, I learned how to embed different content to my website. I understand how to improve the interactivity of my website, i understand how to embed multimedia content from youtube and lastly, i learned how to create a viewer or customer friendly experience for those who visit their website through multimedia content.
MODULE 2: ICT AS PLATFORM FOR SOCIAL CHANGE
In module 2, I learned the importance of ICT as a platform for social change together with this on how to create a concept paper to realize the success of my project. In this module it helped me to familiarize the ICT as platform for social change. I understand the events that ICT helped realize. I learned to use prior ICT knowledge in planning a campaign using online resources. I also learned to identify the platforms that will help in the success of the campign. Lastly, I developed a working prototype of an ICT project for social change.
MODULE 3: ICT PROJECT PUBLICATION, STATISTICS AND MAINTENANCE
In module 3, I learned and understand how to monitor my website and its importance of updating the content and conduct maintenance. I understand the key factors that will make my website success. I learned how to monitor the website’s traffic and use it to their advantage. I also learned how to create feedbacks forms using google forms, I learned how to evaluate the effectiveness of my online campaign through user feedbacks. Lastly, I learned to improve the online campaign using various tools.
